Ideal Solution for Connection to Vehicles Where a Standard ‘ignition On’ Reference Is Unavailable

CANM8 CANNECT Power
The is a CAN Bus interface that provides a 12v, 1A output when the vehicle ignition is switched on for vehicles which feature CAN Bus wiring. This interface also provides a 12V feed in vehicles which feature start-stop technology, meaning that the output will not cancel when the vehicle enters start-stop mode.

This Interface features ‘Key-In’ detection with compatible vehicles enabling the ignition output to remain live when the ignition is turned off but the key remains in the ignition.

Installation
The interface features a mini wiring connector, which unplugs to allow easy installation. There are 2 connections to the vehicle CAN Bus wiring (CAN Hi & CAN Lo) along with a connection to a permanent, fused 12v power supply and an earth connection. The CANM8-POWER interface senses when the Ignition is turned on via the CAN Bus and provides a 12v, 1A Output.

The interface incorporates a multi-function miniature status LED, which indicates correct connection to the CAN system, CAN activity present and confirmation that the CAN identity has been recognised.

LED Status:

• Flashing Red: Searching For CAN Information
• Solid Red: CAN Data Received But Vehicle Type Not Identified Yet.
• Solid Green: CAN Data Received & Vehicle Type Recognised.

Wiring Installation Details:

• White – CAN HI
• Blue – CAN LO
• Black– 0V
• Red – 12V
• Purple – 12V Ignition On Output
