2. Adding the SILENCER Acoustic Cotton material behind the door trim absorbs, disperses and even contains sound. This natural material is effective because it’s porous, accepting and contains energy. It also eliminates creaking, rattling of wires and harnesses.
3. Installing the SHIELD MAX where the speaker is mounted eliminates panel vibration around the speaker area and also acts an air-tight seal between the speaker mounting plate and the door panel to eliminate bass response lost due to gaps. Use the remaining SHIELD MAX from the speaker hole created and stick it to the door panel behind the speaker to further enhance the audio performance by absorbing backwaves
4. Applying the Speaker Foam strip around the speaker mounting surface further acts as an air tight seal to eliminate bass response lost from gaps between the speaker and the mounting plate.
5.  Attaching the Sound Snakes (suitable for up to 8-inch speakers ) around the front lip of the speaker acts as a seal to the door trim panel. This stops audio from being lost behind the door trim and also directs all the sound into the car.
