The Morel HYBRID CDM-700 delivers exceptional midrange performance as an individual component for personal system design and upgrades. This very shallow 3.5" midrange incorporates a 2.1" extremely low mass aluminum Hexatech voice coil for very efficient cooling and linear movement. The Neo magnet motor system encapsulates the voice coil structure, forming a large venting pole with Morel's C.A.R filter to create an effective damped rear chamber. This design produces very low resonance frequency, low distortion, and high power handling capabilities. With 100W RMS power handling, 90 dB sensitivity, and 8-ohm impedance, the CDM-700 offers excellent performance in the critical midrange frequencies from 600 Hz to 6 kHz. The acoustic attributes and mechanical design allow easy installation in various vehicle locations, making it ideal for custom 3-way system builds or midrange upgrades requiring shallow mounting depth.
