The Morel ELATE CARBON 62A delivers the iconic Elate line performance in a 2-way active configuration with enhanced low-frequency capability. This system features Morel's TLC (Triple Layer Composite) carbon fiber/Rohacell sandwich cones with FEA and Klipple-optimized EVC motors for ultra-low distortion and exceptional power handling. The compact MT450 tweeters utilize Acuflex™ coated silk domes with dual neodymium magnets and open cavity design, engineered to fit most OEM factory locations using supplied mounts. The larger 6.5" woofer handles both bass and midrange frequencies with its robust 75mm voice coil, providing improved low-frequency extension down to 30 Hz compared to the 5.25" version. As an active system, the ELATE CARBON 62A requires external amplification and active crossover management (MTX 280C available separately), enabling precise frequency division between the woofer and tweeter. This 2-way configuration offers simplified installation with enhanced bass performance, ideal for applications requiring maximum output in a streamlined package.
