The Morel ELATE CARBON 53A continues the legacy of the iconic Elate line, delivering high power and high fidelity in an install-friendly package. This 3-way active system features Morel's TLC (Triple Layer Composite) carbon fiber/Rohacell sandwich cones with FEA and Klipple-optimized EVC motors for ultra-low distortion and exceptional power handling. The compact MT450 tweeters utilize Acuflex™ coated silk domes with dual neodymium magnets and open cavity design, engineered to fit most OEM factory locations using supplied mounts. The MM3 3.5" midrange driver incorporates EVC motor technology with a 54mm voice coil and highly damped TLC carbon fiber cone for superior mid-frequency control. As an active system, the ELATE CARBON 53A requires external amplification and active crossover management (MTX 380C available separately), enabling precise frequency division and optimal driver performance. The 5.25" configuration offers exceptional performance in space-constrained installations while maintaining the full benefits of the 3-way active design.
