The Morel ELATE CARBON 52A delivers the iconic Elate line performance in a simplified 2-way active configuration. This system features Morel's TLC (Triple Layer Composite) carbon fiber/Rohacell sandwich cones with FEA and Klipple-optimized EVC motors for ultra-low distortion and exceptional power handling. The compact MT450 tweeters utilize Acuflex™ coated silk domes with dual neodymium magnets and open cavity design, engineered to fit most OEM factory locations using supplied mounts. The 5.25" woofer handles both bass and midrange frequencies with its large 75mm voice coil, eliminating the need for a separate midrange driver while maintaining reference-quality performance. As an active system, the ELATE CARBON 52A requires external amplification and active crossover management (MTX 280C available separately), enabling precise frequency division between the woofer and tweeter. This 2-way configuration offers simplified installation and exceptional performance for applications where space or complexity constraints make a 3-way system impractical.
